Lynqivo transfers files and folders directly within the same local network. Here is what it actually does.
Large files are split into multiple data segments processed in parallel. The progress bar advances segment by segment, so you can see exactly how far the transfer has come. Each segment is verified, and in-progress files are kept in a temporary location rather than mixed in with your existing files.

If the network drops, a device sleeps, or you need to step away, completed progress is kept. Reconnect and the transfer picks up where it stopped — no re-sending a multi-gigabyte file from the beginning.
Several tasks and data segments move at once instead of queuing up one after another. The transfer log lists in-progress, completed and cancelled tasks side by side, each showing the source device, progress and current speed.
Devices on the same local network discover each other and connect directly. Nothing passes through a server, and there is no relay to set up. It works just as well on a network with no outside connection.
Two devices, one network, nothing in between
Files move directly between devices. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud and nothing passes through a third-party server. When a transfer finishes, the file sits wherever you chose to put it.
The current version does not additionally encrypt transferred content. We recommend using it on a network you trust.
Windows, macOS, Android and Linux can all send to each other. You do not need to think about whether both ends run the same system.

Lynqivo places no limit on file size — in theory there is none. Multi-gigabyte disk images, or folders holding hundreds of assets, can all be sent directly. In practice, what matters is whether the receiving device has enough free storage.
With this on, Lynqivo starts together with your system and stays ready in the background. The device is discoverable by others on the same network from the moment it boots — no need to open the app first and wait to be found. It suits a computer that is meant to sit there as a receiving end.

With automatic receiving enabled, incoming files are accepted and saved straight to the folder you designated, without confirming each one. Paired with launch at startup, a computer can sit permanently ready to receive — files sent from other devices simply land on its disk.
